Add a backtesting to select group of stocks

What I mean is, instead of manually having to enter in dates, prices, and commission, is there a way to just add the stocks and somehow pull in from the past prices instead of having to manually enter the cost in ourselves. the cost of it on a certain date is already known since it already happened.
